Hugh Tullos is a native Texan of epic proportions. He resides in Oklahoma City, OK and spends as much time as possible on Aransas Bay in the sleepy little drinking village of Rockport, TX. His skills at flying, boating, and cycling have taken him all over the world to experience a vast variety of drinking establishments. His cycling adventures have been ever so key to never missing an obscure little bar along the way.
As a certified, verified, genuine teller of True Tall Tales, Hugh gathers a crowd in any joint to expertly exchange drinking culture and heritage with all who cross his path. The custom cars he builds from scratch and other assorted powerful machines that facilitate his bar hopping, tend to bring additional luster to Historic Drinking Establishments upon arrival.
Primarily a rum drinker, his signature drink of late has being Mount Gay, OJ, lime, and bitters. Hugh is versatile in his taste with a love of fine reds, good tequila, and a solid lager.
We look forward to Hugh’s direction, in-depth reporting, and his perspectives on the nominees we receive for our programs.
Stacy O’Neal is a native Texan. She splits her time between her home bar in Texas , Molina’s Cantina and her ancestral home of Ireland. Being of Irish descent, the love and pursuit of drinking began at an early age, and being Baptist, she learned the art of undercover drinking in coffee cup and solo cups. Which proves- the vessel does not make the drink.
Stacy is a photo journalist and is also unofficially known for having more pictures on her iPhone of people in bars drinking than was thought humanly possible. When in Ireland she drinks in and photographs pubs like Sean’s Bar, Ireland and Europes oldest bar dating to 900 AD. to hundreds of other pubs! All have enhanced her drinking heritage and the love of Guinness, Irish whiskey and Irish craft gins.
In Texas, she is Lord Mayoress of a weekly Taco Tuesday gathering where lifelong friends gather and toast the afternoon and night away with margaritas.
We are certain there is probably an unofficial record there as to how many margaritas she has consumed in one location. As European correspondent, stay tuned as history unfolds of the migration of drinking from Europe to the United States. Slainte!
